The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Nintendo Switch Review

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Nintendo Switch

In this upgraded HD edition of the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword game, soar across floating islands and descend to the perilous surface world.

Using simple motion controls, gently swing your Sword and angle your slashes to expose and break through opponents' defenses.

Because of the Nintendo Switch system's processing power and HD visuals, movements seem smoother and more instantaneous. Use the newly introduced button-only control scheme, which is ideal for playing in portable mode or on the Nintendo Switch Lite system.

It all starts as a legend.

Ride with Link as he tries to save his childhood buddy, Zelda, who has a destiny to fulfill. This modernized version of the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword presents a whole new adventure on the serene floating islands while allowing you to descend to the very dangerous surface world.

Setting out on an adventure is only a matter of picking up the controller.

Button-only controls are now now available, letting you play the way you choose, whether it be portable mode or on the Nintendo Switch Lite system.

Fight many enemies, solve various riddles, and explore several dungeons

Keep your wits about you. Allow sufficient space around you, and use wrist restraints while playing video games. The Nintendo Switch Lite can only be used when attached to a detachable Joy-Con controller and a charging device (sold separately). Visit http://support.nintendo.com/switch/play for more information. A game and a system must be purchased separately. If a game supports portable mode, it works on the Nintendo Switch Lite.

Customer Review

If you loved The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it may be difficult to get into this game. Re-releases are sure to show which video game franchises have improved.

A Legend of Zelda series fan will surely be pleased with everything the game has to offer regardless of whether or not the mechanics are up to snuff.

This game may not be to your taste if you've just played Breath of the Wild in the Zelda series. It follows the format of games like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, with a few changes. The game is more linear and organized than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which has a huge open world.

Aging has taken its toll on the game mechanics, and Nintendo attempted to balance the motion controls of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk on the Right Stick of the Switch controllers. But if you're using a pro controller or any other configuration, you can still play using motion controls.

It's great to have the 60 frames per second, and the soundtrack is very amazing as well. Despite not having voice overs, expect to read a lot while playing this game since everything will be done via odd noises or in an unfamiliar language.

I don't suggest this game for youngsters who adore BOTW but have not played any other Zelda game. They will surely not like it.
